First I have worked maybe 10 hurricane now this one as far as structure damage is very bad! I have seen trees on houses just not to this level. Most of the work is on the coast and its roof and flood damage. Not trusses replacement .
PCS have been general contractor/commercial since 2018 . We mainly deal with water damage homes.
Insurance adjuster doesnt understand how bad “extra” water is in your home. It makes mold and other micro damages. Insurance adjusters are not here to tell you how much is going to cost to repair. Only to put the insurance on notice of costs so they can set reserves for there claims.
Every time someone has a claim the insurance company has to take
Money out of investment and put in a reserve for your repairs. They (insurance companies) are hoping that they dont
Need to increase the limits. Because then they dont get to make money off your policy any more.
The insurance adjuster is an contractor, They are just good at writing estimates. Must of the time the repairs will be double what they wrote.
